Debate!

Hey, guys, long time, no see! You know what? In Science today, we debated on whether hydraulic fracturing (in the Marcellas Shale) was good or bad. Otherwise known as "Frack". You might've seen those kind of signs around town. Fracturing causes many health problems, contamination in water, pollution of air and water, greenhouse gases, changes in landscape, and changes in ecosystem. Fracturing however provides gas and electricity, which would lower gas prices, by a lot, and provide money and jobs, pulling us out of the economic crisis we are in. Well, that gave me a taste on what debating was like. It's really fun! For those of you who really enjoy arguments and stating your opinions, than you will enjoy debating. If you enjoy and are good at debating, you should consider being a lawyer as a job! Haha, now back to subject. I was thinking of making a debate club! Today in Science, many people seemed to enjoy debating. What do you think about it? Would you join if it DOES become a club?

Spring Fever!

I have a bad case of spring fever! *Sigh. Don't you love the feel of cool air on your skin, the new buds of flowers just visible on the trees and the ground? Don't you love the humidity and the refreshment of the first summer storm? Don't you love spring?

Oppurtunity

You know, I was thinking about this one time. Life has as lot of oppurtunities and you should live life to the fullest. Life is short, because time goes fast, and never take life for granted.

Help the Haitians!

Hi everybody! So now you can see that I made some new changes to my blog! Do you like it? Please comment about it. I have personally customized the template... isn't that cool?! On the sidebar, you should see that I have added a poll. Please do that. :) Also, I have added a slideshow containing cool pics of Converse!!! I love Converse, if you don't know already! (DO YOU LIKE CONVERSE? YOU BETTER!) Also, I have added a Help the Haiti thing-a-ma-jiggery. Please help the Haitians. If you don't know, the Haitians have been struck by tragedy: a huge earthquake, measured 7 out of 10 (thats severness, 7 is VERY high for an earthquake) has killed a lot of people and sent the capital into ruins. Please help them, even a dollar can make a difference. Port-au-prince, the capital of Haiti, may take years to rebuild, as all the buildings have fallen down. People are still being saved and dug out from tons of rubble. They are one of the poorest countries too, so this is a major factor as well.
As you read this, people are dying. Of thirst, of hunger, of disease. People are dying under rocks. People are dying on the streets, waiting for someone to find them. People are crying for their lost ones. Babies will grow up without any parents. But you can help. Please donate to the Red Cross. Bring your money to Boynton on Wednesday to help the Haitians. We all can make a sacrifice for the dying ones out there. A dollar can make a difference.
